It really has it all this piano stool. It is a superb piece of accomplished Edwardian top quality furnishing.
A lift up seat with a pristine compartment.
A main cupboard with a beautiful carved panel.
Exquisite turned handles.
It is a beautifully constructed piece of furniture of the highest quality. It is made of mahogany and is a sturdy as the day it was made.
It has a dark ebonised effect finish to it which somehow the other has remained incredibly well preserved with just a few surface marks and minor wear to the top of the handles as you would expect from use.
Please take a good look at the images to check the condition.
I think the material is original, it is missing the hem and where it was you can the tacks etc they do look to be the original tacks and like the wooden parts the material is very well preserved and shows hardly any sign of wear at all apart from the missing hem.
This is one of the nicest examples of a late Victorian Edwardian Paris tools did I ever seen. You will see elsewhere in my shop I have a number of piano stools and I have sold well over 100 in my time online and this is certainly up there with the top few.
