Superb Pair of Mosaic on Glass Bottle Handmade Bedside Lamps. Great condition. Lots of flex but need rewiring. Black White Grey.
These lamps are quite astounding. Judging by the wiring they were made in the 1970s or 80s. The mosaic has pain skilfully applied to a couple of wine bottles. These actual stands are aesthetically in superb condition. The mosaic appearance is absolutely superb with the glazed pieces giving it a nice sheen. The work has been accomplished to a very high standard. To the base there is a hole where the wire goes through.
The hole is quite small which is why the thinner older wire has gone through it and the thicker wire that you can see in the images has been attached to the thinner wire. You can either simply rewire as is or drill a larger hole and just use the thicker wire. Make no mistake you will need to rewire the lamp but most of the raw materials necessary are present. You can source the bayonets that sit in glass bottles online.
There is a lot of flex, certainly generous enough to provide a good length two both lamps.

So yes a bit of a mission getting them rewired but nothing outstandingly difficult at all. A bit of a faff but once these are done and the job is finished you'll be able to enjoy this these lamps for years and years to come.
With the right shades they will look absolutely amazing
