This is a charming and evocative watercolour. It is very difficult to identify where it is from although I think it is just a lovely standalone picture of what looks like a church and some Mediterranean houses. I would imagine it ius France and it reminds me of touring and tipping up to the outskirts have yet another charming small village. Happy days!
Signed Jill and marked 1987. It is also marked Brenton which I have googled and found nothing helpful to help locate where Brenton is. Sounds English but certainly is not English.
In a light cream and gilt wooden frame. There are some surface marks to the frame but nothing serious.
Glazed with a thick cream mount. Beautifully painted and wonderful colours. Good condition. Thick card mount.
