This magnificent late Victorian painted walnut mirror is a beautiful reimagining of what was once the top section of a grand dressing table. At some point, the original piece was converted solely into a chest of drawers, but the quality and craftsmanship of this mirror remain exceptional.

Painted some time ago in a very light cream and finished with wax, the surface has been lightly distressed, with some edges sanded to reveal the natural wood beneath. A few scattered chips add to its authentic, age-worn vintage charm, though you may choose to touch them up if desired.

The mirror has been expertly reconfigured and is very solidly built. It’s a heavy, top-quality piece with timeless appeal. The original bevelled glass is in very good condition, reflecting its superb heritage. some spotting to the top and the bottom right does not particularly affect the general aesthetic at all, in fact maybe enhances it.

Two brass mirror plates allow for wall attachment, though these can easily be replaced if preferred. The mirror also features a practical shelf, which would be a wonderful addition in a bathroom, hallway, or any room in the house where a touch of elegance is needed.

This is a truly classy and versatile piece, full of vintage character, ready to become a stunning focal point in your home.

Delivery is to the front door. Should the item be large the courier will need a hand your end or contact us and we will arrange a more expensive two man delivery.
