Superb Large Hand Painted Mirror Wall or Over Mantel in Farrow and Ball Gold Highlights. A 1990’s solid pine mirror. Made by Ducal which was a luxury pine furniture brand. I have applied two coats of undercoat and three topcoats of Farrow and Ball Wimborne White estate eggshell. I have then wire woolled the finish so some of the original finish shows through. Farrow and Ball describe Wimborne White as follows- This just off white is named after the market town of Wimborne in Dorset and home to Farrow & Ball. 'Only a shade away from a pure white, the addition of the smallest amount of warm yellow pigment creates a very versatile shade which is just a little softer than All White.' Please be sure to take a good look at all the images available and utilise the zoom facility to check the condition. I have then painted the decorative trellis effect with an artist’s acrylic gold and again wire woolled this to null any shine and leave a shabby chic finish. This is hand painted so expect brush strokes and minor idiosyncrasies to the finish. All round this is in very good condition, Would look amazing above a fireplace or anywhere in the house.
