Superb Art Deco Table Lamp of High Quality Different Blocks of Wood Tetradecagon Diamond.
This is an outstanding art deco table lamp. It is made of five layers of wood, the base and 4 sections of the tetradecagon shape.
Each of the four layers is made of different types of hardwood, the precision and the quality of this build is outstanding. To two of the sides that is a very dark stain.
The base is made of one solid word with a diamond type decoration to the sides.
The good news is is that it is still in working order at some points the wiring has been upgraded.
The lead is a whopping 3.5 metres long.
With it comes the lamp shade which is probably later, I would date from the 60s or the 70s. It is made of a composite tough material with a fabric covering and upper and lower hem apart from one stain to it, this remains in well preserved order. However you may well want to upgrade the lamp shade but it will be sent anyway.
The actual condition of the lamp base is very good with no blemishes to report, it is very well preserved. It sits on 4 rubber feet and has a thin cork bottom.
