A wonderful example of an art decor mirror suitable for everyday use and homes. It is full of attractive art deco detailing. It has a lovely shape to it, some engraving detail on the glass and the piece de resistance is the metal fan at the top - confirming its art deco roots. It has its original backing and chain making it completely authentic. Yes it shows signs of age, but as it is 100yrs old, this is completely normal.
There are no chips or cracks to the mirror - there are some signs of age in the glass - occasional spotting, silver erosion around some edge, and one or two minor scratches, but overall it really is in vg vintage condition and able to hung straight away. The chain currently hangs above the mirror and is 25cm depth, but you can shorten it or replace with another hanging means if you don't want the chain above.
Wonderful mirror to be hung in a bedroom, bathroom, hallway. Delightful and attractive early 1900s piece for a true vintage accent to your home. Whilst these mirrors are 100yrs old, they somehow slot into classic, contemporary, retro, mid century themed interiors very well.
