Superb Architectural Salvage Mahogany Unique Standard Lamp Working
The column is probably 18th century and must have originated either from a demolished stately home interior or ship interior. Superb quality.
The cross base is made of oak and look to have been added mid-20th century.
The flex enters the lamp a few inches below the top. The flex is gold.
Working order. The plug, wire and bayonet are all sound. Not PAT tested as too old. 10 ft flex.
The condition is very good, please take a good look at all of the images and use the zoom in facility to check the condition.
Surface marks that you would expect. There is a shard of wood missing to one of the four round decorative holes just below the top. This will not notice with a lampshade and is relatively innocuous, I have shown this in the images.
Not only visually impressive and superb quality, but a constant theme of where the wood came from will always keep it as a statement piece.
Height to the top of the actual wood 130 cm
