Super Vintage Victorian Turkish Decorative Asian Style Rug. 245 x 180 cm
A beautiful, but age worn, Victorian decorative woollen rug.
Has the classic patterned riot of colours that make these beautiful rugs so distinctive and attractive.
I think it is late Victorian or very early 20th century. It is woollen.
As you’d expect, although it is a lovely quality rug, it is worn.
There are three flaws to the rug. The tassels are worn down and to one end there is a lump that is missing, to the left of that two areas have folded into the main rug although there is nothing missing. Generally, the thread is worn down a little bit. I hope you can see in the close up images but can see the rug maintains its charm vibrancy and colour. It is very much worn but perfectly fit for purpose.
With bags of character, I have priced as low as I can, delivery is free but will stand us in £40, and at a price where it does not have to be preciously preserved and is therefore very much a practical age worn rug, still with decades in it.

It will certainly benefit from a clean as it is a little musty but really not too bad at all.
