I love this stool. It is so pretty and attractive. great as a footstool or as a little person stool, or just a super practical surface for all those bits and bobs which hang around a living room. It is likely 1960s, maybe 50s, lovely wooden tapered and splayed legs, with an upholstered top in attractive patterned fabric. Neat, small, perfect as a retro accent in a space.
The stool is overall in great vintage condition. Not perfect by any means. The wood has marks on it, but all commensurate with age. The legs are affixed tightly and the stool is solid, but the legs do move out when pressure is applied - so heavy persons are not recommended. The material seat is likely the original fabric as it is affixed underside by metal pins and you can see the original upholstery strapping too. It is in very good condition, except for one small side which has more sign of age and use than the others - this may well clean up and out, as the fabric looks like it is very easy to clean, but I have not tried.
This is a super retro piece of furniture. It seems to have a bit of character and charm about it. I love how it is still the original fabric and that the legs have a bit of interest in them - splayed and tapered.
