I bought this as you see it so I cannot verify what type of paint has been used.
This is a 1970s mirror. The wooden frame has been covered in a composite moulding. It originally had a gold finish. Somebody has painted a few coats off what looks like a grey chalk paint.
They have then wiped the paint down so the gold underneath shows through and leaves a fantastic contemporary finish.
Good quality original glass which is very well preserved.
Boarded backing with a chain.
This mirror would look fantastic in any room in your contemporary vintage or retro style home. The medium size means it should fit anywhere quite easily and this is a good size not too big and not too small.
