This is a stunning antique pine dresser, full of rustic charm and character. This solid word piece features a traditional two-part design, with a glass fronted display camera on top and the spacious cupboard withdrawals below. Perfect for kitchens, dining rooms, or living spaces, this dresser embodies classic farmhouse style with its natural finish and timeless appeal.

It's originates from Europe and I would guess was made between 1910 and 1920.
Arctic lorries of this European furniture used to be imported from the continent during the 1980s and 90s when stripped pine was the fashion.

This would have been stripped in the UK in an acid bath. There are occasional signs of webworm but this is historical and would have been killed during the acid treatment and stripping.

It has a polished finish on the stripped wood.

This dresser comes in two pieces, the top has the unusual curves triple thick front below the glass cupboard which gives it a very distinctive and chunky look. There is a key to the top cupboard in the images which is now lost. Within the cupboard the inside appears to be polished as well not the back of the doors though. Really useful shallow upper shelf to the inside. Solid wood backing.

The base has two drawers which run well, one has a split to the draw bottom which is perfectly normal in old pine. Within the cupboard is a single shelf which can lift out , for some reason it is not quite wide enough and additional word has been added to make sure it stays in situ.

There are some marks to the surface top which you would expect for something of this age.

It is a very attractive dresser with a beautiful golden patina. It is deep so there is plenty of storage room.
The only slight thought is there is no key or nob 2 the bottom doors, the bottom left hand door has bolts in, so it does sit in tightly but you may well once get a door catch for the right hand door which is not so tight.
