A stunning painting of still life flowers in a glass vase, painted on silk. A very unique and beautifully bright painting. Wonderful as a colourful accent to a room. Possibly something for an oriental style decor, or a room with a garden view. Gorgeous summer blooms to brighten up a space.
Being on silk it does have that slight oriental aura about it, but it could just be a lovely different still life to enjoy. It may have elements of batik in it too which definitely makes it different. It is is positively lovely.
It has been mounted in a cream beige thick card mount and then is in a gilt wooden frame. There is no glass unfortunately. The frame does have a few bits of gilt missing which is not a problem as it makes the frame look more authentically aged. It can be hung as is, but you could also get some non reflective glass cut for it too. The actual painting is in excellent condition and the mount is good too.
