Stunning original watercolour by James McGregor, large vintage art painting, road lined with trees browns red ink detail, glazed frame

This is a wonderful original watercolour painting. It is titled "Autumn" and depicts rows of trees in autumn splendour lining a country road. The colours are wonderful - browns and oranges with beige. Interestingly the artist, James McGregor, has chosen to use red ink to capture some of the detail too - birds, markings on the road and in the fields. He signs the painting in red ink too. It is a gorgeous large painting - wonderful original water colour. The painting looks to be in very good condition. It is mounted in a thick cream mount which is a little marked and has some dull staining on it - also appears to maybe cling to the glass a bit. The vintage frame is painted in gold with red underside, which has due to wear and tear started to show through in places. This red shabby look actually goes well with the painting. The frame has a few knocks and bumps from storage and wear. In my opinion, a little tlc and tart up and the painting can be hung as is. Alternatively replace the mount if you want it to be a bit more sparkly. Overall though - a wonderful autumnal painting signed by McGregor. Good size so well worth displaying.
