Stunning Large Vintage Mahogany Swing Dressing Table Mirror

An outstanding early 20th century vintage dressing table of the finest quality and appearance.
It would originally have had side mirrors and you can see there are filled holes where the side mirrors would have been attached to the mirror support columns. There are also a couple of holes to the top of the columns where there would have been turned finials which are now missing and the holes filled.
What remains is a superb single dressing table mirror of high quality build hand very good condition.
The mirror tilts so you can view yourself at your preferred angle.
The mirror support is made of solid mahogany and is very robust.
The mirror frame is thick mahogany strips imposed on a mahogany carcass with fantastic carving detail to the top. It is always the same with these mirrors that there are tiny little splits where the strips of wood join probably caused through heat or various climatic conditions which has caused it to split over the years.
Thick original glass, there are some imperfections, spotting and lines behind the glass on the actual mirror reflective mirror part but this is perfectly normal for a mirror of this age and merely adds some character and authenticity adds genuine vintage charm.
This is a superb mirror, highly attractive yet in many ways quite simple so a lovely piece of Victorian furniture.
