These are very popular mirrors. They were produced in the 1970s and they are made of a moulded composite material, if they were made of the traditional wood and gesso that the reproductions they copied are made of, they would be tatty by now with bits knocked off etc. I know these very ornate frames are thought of as kitsch, and they are, but they are also just very attractive in a vintage style home,
These were generally made in Italy and imported in bulk during the 80s. Many of these are quite lightweight but this has a good weight to it so of good quality.
Beautiful gold finish with darker highlights that are still vibrant.
Stunning design and decoration. Delightful cherub and floral decorations.
Would make a fantastic centrepiece in the bathroom or hallway.

There is a very good weight and quality to this mirror. What I like about it is it has a nice muted gold finish show it isn't too bright and shiny but actually quite understated yet very pretty.
