This is an outstandingly attractive early 20th century standard lamp. It is made of a hardwood of some description so is of fine quality.
It seems to still boast the original painted finish which has some wonderful hand painted floral detail to the base. You'll see in the images that this painted finish has been chipped in places and there are signs of wear, which you will either consider a shame or feel it just adds that really lovely age worn and antique look to the piece.
This lamp does work and the electrics seemed to be fired but get checked out or upgrade should you wish to.
Would look absolutely amazing with the right lamp shade.
