This is an absolutely stunning working standard lamp.
This lamp has had a new plug added, has been insulated tested and is in good working condition.
I would date it from the 1950s.
It is of superb quality, I am not sure of the variety of word, it is certainly a very top quality hardwood and it has a lovely grain to it. The upshot is that this is a very heavy standard lamp hence it stands very well and secure.
What I like about it is the simplicity of the design, but how that is augmented by the beautiful carved detail to the corner edges of the base and the wonderful floral carvings to the column.
The condition is basically very good, there are minor signs of wear to the original finish but nothing more than you would expect for something so old.
With the right shade this will look absolutely amazing.
Handily it has an incredibly long flex so if you have a dearth of plugs in your house this could be perfect for you, it is 20ft long!

Delivery is to the front door. Should the item be large the courier will need a hand your end or contact us and we will arrange a more expensive two man delivery.
