Spanish vintage water colour by Martin Hidalgo 1975 - architectural and townscape, large retro painting in quality vintage frame and mount

I believe this to be a gorgeous water colour by the Spanish artist, Martin Hidalgo. Most likely of a street scene on Madrid. Hidalgo famously captured many urban and architectural scenes in Spanish towns and villages during the 20th century. This particular painting is dated 1975 and is charming and a really accurate depiction of a typical scene. It is framed professionally in white frame, brown mount (which goes well with the greys, reddy brown of the painting) and glazing. Ready to hang and in VGC.

There is some lovely detail in the painting, the two people about to walk up the stairs, the name of the square and the name of a shop. The curvature of the buildings and the street are so endearing, you can't help but be drawn into the life of the people who live here.

I am not certain if this is a print or an original. I have tried to look it up. It is however a stunning retro picture capturing Spanish culture, architectural interest and a town scene. A wonderful gift for someone who knows or loves Spanish life.
