A solid pine chest of drawers.
There are four clean drawers that all run well.
It is in very good condition, sturdy and fully intact.
I have applied three coats of primer and two coats of Farrow and Ball Wimborne White estate eggshell- according to Farrow and Ball- ‘This just off white is named after the market town of Wimborne in Dorset and home to Farrow & Ball. Only a shade away from a pure white, the addition of the smallest amount of warm yellow pigment creates a very versatile shade which is just a little softer than All White.’
I have wire woolled areas of it so the wood shows through leaving a contemporary distressed finish.
This is hand painted so expect brush strokes and other very minor idiosyncrasies.
There are plastic drawer stops to the backs of the top of the wood at the back of the drawer as a safety feature for young children to stop drawer being pulled out., but simply need to be rotated ninety degrees to disengage or of course unscrew them as only a small screw.
