Fabulous retro lamp. Painted wooden lamp in off white with some gilt detail and the most unexpected royal purple felt underside! Slightly taller table lamp, therefore being quite elegant in stature. Vertical detail on the stem and a good sized round base. It had a slightly French look about it too. In very good vintage condition and working order. It does show some signs of age commensurate with age, a few nicks etc but nothing that stops it looking like a great vintage wooden lamp. If it didn’t have those markings it would look like a modern copycat. The lamp is working as I say but it hasn’t been professionally tested or checked. As a 1970s lamp, a wonderful retro shade would go well with this lamp. Something wild and crazy could be interesting. But a classic Empire or Bell shape would work very well too.
