This vintage Chinese Oriental carved hardwood side table, dating from the early to mid-20th century, showcases beautiful hand-crafted detail. Made from solid hardwood with a warm reddish-brown patina, the table features intricate floral and foliate carving along the legs and apron, framed by traditional geometric key-pattern corners. The centre panels display various carved scenes including people, flowers and foliage giving the piece both cultural and decorative appeal.

Likely originating from China, there were Chinese characters/lettering underside its matching smaller table, this versatile table is ideal as a plant stand, lamp table, or a statement accent in a hallway, living room, or conservatory. Condition is really good for a table which has travelled across the world and had possibly nigh on 100yrs use. It has some light age-related wear, minor surface marks and a natural patina that enhances its antique charm.
