Set of four very beautiful vintage watercolour silk paintings , Japanese Oriental floral theme - four original art silk paintings

A delightful set of four vintage paintings - all completed meticulously on silk fabric. They are beautiful depictions of flowers including cherry blossoms and orchids. Wonderful paintings so delicately painted onto the fabric background. The fabric background is two toned - a smooth silk for the painting and then a patterned silk acting as a mount. There is a distinctive Oriental Japanese theme about the paintings. Very old - you ca tell this from the fantastic frames, hard backing and older wire. The frames are light wood, likely oak or beech. All matching and all glazed. All ready to hang. I would date these to early 2th century. They are in excellent condition. Hardly a mark on the actual paintings, certainly nothing that detracts. The frames are also in a very goo state - yes some marks commensurate with age but nothing untoward. This set of rather lovely delicate truly vintage paintings could be hung up the day you receive them!
