I rarely come across such a lovely set of artwork. Three superbly subtle, simple paintings on material (I think it is cotton/linen) all depicting traditional Japanese rural landscape scenes at the foot of Mount Fuji. There are traditional homes, boats (junks), water, trees and then the imposing Mount in the distance. They give a sense of calm and tranquility.
There are three pictures in the set. They are glazed. They are all framed with double mounts the blue main mount is calming too and goes well with the landscape scenes. The frames are light wood with some gold edging. All are in very good vintage condition. Minor marking on some mount, and minor wear to the frames. All are ready to hang. The actual pictures in the frames are in vgc.
