Vintage-Style 1970s Globe Chairs – Set of 3 (2 White, 1 Black)

This is a fabulous set of globe chairs in a classic 1970s style, featuring two white chairs and one black—a timeless combination. While I can’t confirm if these are original 1970s pieces, they are certainly authentic to the design of the era. If they are originals, they’re a bargain at this price!

Details and Condition:
Design: Genuine 70s-inspired globe chairs with chrome bases.
Age: Based on their wear and finish, they could be 50 years old or possibly an 80s reproduction. I’ve included photos of the undersides for those knowledgeable in identifying vintage furniture.
Condition:
Chrome Bases: Cleaned up a bit but could certainly benefit from further polishing. There are sporadic rust marks and a few dents. The white chairs have a slightly cloudy finish, while the black chair is more reflective.

The shells are made of fibre glass or a composite type resin plastic. They are all intact. There are marks to them that particularly stand out on the black one, you maybe able to T-cut these.

Seats: The foam cushions are covered with a leatherette material that shows significant wear, especially around the edges, revealing the cloth beneath. While the look is distressed, there are no holes, and the seats remain fully intact.
Functionality: All three chairs rotate smoothly, and their structure is sound, requiring no structural repairs—just aesthetic restoration.

This will cost us between £60-80 so if you wish collect from Lewes in East Sussex we will refund the saved courier charges.
The couriers will arrange a day and time window with you.
Delivery is to the front door. Should the item be large the courier will need a hand your end or contact us and we will arrange a more expensive two man delivery.
It will take about 2 weeks.
