Retro Vintage Mid-Century Folding Fire Screen Guard or Folding Coffee Table with Still Life Tapestry Glazed.

Not only of a top quality build and very well preserved but very quirky and interesting.

Built in the 1950s or 60s out of teak, which is a hardwood and therefore very well made.

There is a motif to the back- The Needlewoman Shop 146-8 Regent St London.

It has a rather lovely still life flower tapestry which is very well preserved still and absolutely charming. It is glazed.

The teak is in an all round well preserved condition, with just a few surface marks, the feet are very sturdy and have a real 50s/ 60s look to them.

This would look great in any fireplace both as an attractive piece of furniture and also to cover up the often untidy workings of the fireplace.

Obviously, this does double up as a coffee table. It has a very simple clip mechanism which holds the table in place and is very simple to simply unclick and directs again as a far screen.

This is of fine quality and also credibly attractive and a real piece of classic mid 20th century furniture
