Wonderfully practical retro dinnerware set. A set containing 16 pieces - 5 dinner plates, 5 side plates and 6 bowls. Lovely retro design labelled Delphatic White and made by Barratts, England. Likely 1960s/70s I would imagine given the quality, the colours and the design.
The design is of two types of flowers in greens and browns and oranges. Really classic retro look and feel to the set.
Transfers printed onto the pieces. The transfers are not perfect in some places and are worn in others, incl some signs of wear on the edging, but overall the actual pattern and print is still in good nick. This would have been an everyday set for a family. Some crazing to the glaze and some signs of use. Good quality though for everyday use, not fine bone china with delicate hand painted motifs for best.
There are 5 dinner plates, 5 side plates and 6 bowls - one of the bowls does have a chip to the underside of the rim. So I guess, a great 4 place setting collection with a few spares.
