Retro Oriental Style Hand Painted Vintage Table Lamp - excellent condition, medium tall

A smashing vintage table lamp in Oriental Chinese Style. Hand painted detailed decoration across the whole lamp body, a ceramic lamp on a wooden base. It is in great condition. No chips, cracks or crazing to the glaze. The brass lid and fitment stem is tarnished in an antique manner, and the wooden base has flecks of age on it. The decorative painting on the body has worn very well indeed, the smallest of fading in places. But overall this is a very attractive table lamp with numerous Chinese scenes painted on it and in very good condition.

Would look fantastic in most decors, and would carry off a shade in traditional Empire or Bell shape, or something a bit more modern like a drum or square could work too. Obviously you have the option of going very neutral and make the base shout out, or pink a few colours from the very many on the base and use these in your shade.

It is a wonderfully elegant looking lamp - lovely shape and detail to it, and of course it is in good condition. Just to make you aware, the lamp is being sold as working but has not been professionally tested. The cable and fitment appear in good condition and the plug is new. The cable is stained yellow, doesn't affect it at all, but just to let you know.
