Retro knitting basket, sewing basket, storage basket - fabulous bold bright rose covered material, on classic wooden frame with round feet

These are invaluable little baskets. You see some newer versions nowadays, but this one is a real retro one. Fabulous storage place for your knitting, sewing, crochet, gadgets nowadays, cables, toys, books etc - but traditionally they would have been used fr knitting and its gubbins square in shape than some of the newer ones. And the material is a lovely cotton rather than a thicker woven fabric. It is likely 1960s - wooden frame with round feet, the frame can close shut for storage and carrying purposes. THe material basket itself is cotton and unusually has two handles inside too - so this basket was made to be carried. The material is a bold bright retro fabric - oranges, yellows and browns. Just fabulous and different. The material has got some spotting on it - likely from storage, but to be honest it blends in quite well. The wooden frame is a kittle lightened and marked from sun and wear - would likely come up a treat with some oil. Or leave as is for a more worn look. It is a little stiff to open or close - that may or may not bother you - it works just fine.
