Superb Mid 20th Century Record Player and Speaker ‘Fidelity Radio.'
There is something truly special about the craftsmanship and design of mid 20th century record players and speakers. The attention to detail, the quality of materials, and the timeless aesthetic make these pieces stand out in a world of mass-produced electronics.
It is unusual to source one of these with a speaker.
There is a ‘Fidelity Radio’ motif.
Before you read further, I am selling this as not working as the electrics are very dated and I am not going to tackle them.
I'm selling this as a rare and collectible duo for the purposes of display.
Please do not buy this try and try to mend it and come up with some excuse to send it back.
Should the casing get broken on delivery of course we will sort something out but contractually if you buy this and you do return it because it doesn't work you will pay postage both ways which will be about £30.
If you are buying this on the basis I'm selling it this will not be a problem at all to you.
Of course, there is every chance you will be able to get it working but again I am selling on the condition you acknowledge that it is not working and will not return it because you cannot repair it!
Two aesthetic faults. Both of the speaker fabrics are torn and the internal record playing mechanics are rusty.
However condition wise apart from that they are very good and they have wonderful clips that you push the two tiny knobs into the side and they clip open which is unusual.
Quantity of wire and plugs, as I have noted before, and they are an absolutely fantastic visual sights of retro mechanics and electrics.
The knobs all work freely and there is a stylus.
