A classic Parisian or French street scene. People shopping local and chatting with friends. Set in 1960s/70s - you can tell by the clothing. Delightfully cheerful scene. You just can't help wishing you were there. It is possibly a print of a Max Moreau, famous Belgian painter, painting, but I have been unable to confirm this.
It is printed and then stuck on board giving it a quality 2 D appearance. The board is in great condition. Minor wear to a couple of corners, but definitely in vgc. The board has then been home mounted I would say onto a plaint piece of off white paper, and framed in a lovely vintage frame, wooden. The frame pre-dates the print. It is glazed and ready to hang.
This print could be reframed in something contemporary or something more retro, in keeping with its era. Or it can be left as is, it must have meant a lot to a previous owner for them to take the time to frame it. It is a happy painting and one that would brighten up any room. Perhaps you have other similar French scenes or perhaps you have been to Paris, or love paintings which depict everyday scenes. This would be a super addition.
Frame is vintage and does show its wear and age in places. The picture may need a wipe down on receipt, after storage. Please see photos and video.
