Retro black leatherette wooden stool - kitchen stool, 1970s stool

A smashing retro wooden stool with black plastic leatherette seat. Light golden wooden frame, and black seat which can be removed and recovered if required. In good vintage condition, a well loved and used item.

The actual seat has wooden pegs underside to move and enable the seat to be taken out. The black plastic covering is a little crumpled in places and some tiny white flecks on it (possibly from a home paint spray at some point, but these are not very noticeable). It is very easy to wipe down and clean. No tears or rips in it.

The wooden frame does show odd signs of age, some scratches, staining and other marks. You could give it a once over with some sand paper and then re-stain if you wished. Or leave as is, as a very authentic charming 1970s stool. A working stool. The stool has been cleaned down, but the underside wood of the seat shows signs of age, will brighten up with a good scrub.

This is a fun stool. It will definitely bring an element of retro delight to your home - great as an extra perch. Please look at photos and video
