Well this is a little gorgeous and unusual. A very tall vintage table lamp - may even be tall enough to use as a floor lamp. It is absolutely lovely and very likely handmade. Carefully crafted filigree metal, painted in black and made into a lamp. Different sections all joined together. See through black metal art - the black cable runs through the middle and the lamp switches on at the wall. It is quite bohemian, fitting in very nicely with its 1960s/70s origins. PAT tested and working.
An unusual shape - with various botanical like appearance in the metalwork. There is some 'open detail' in the bottom part of the stem - almost like a open heart, giving the lamp a little romantic and nostalgic feel about it. Although metal, it is not very heavy making it easy to move around.
Would look superb with a large statement shade - maybe something retro and bold? A very round drum shaped shade could work too.
A very different lamp - see photos - has been wiped down, but may accumulate dust in storage which will also be wiped down, but you may need to clean up if you desire. Minor signs of wear, couple of breaks in metal, but overall looks fantastic; rustic metal and paint finish.
