A very attractive and bold abstract still life painting from 1964, retro in style. A still life of flowers in a vase / bowl. Wild green and yellow background gives a perfect backdrop to the yellow, orange and red flowers set in a blue white and yellow vase. The abstract nature of this still life really sets it apart from just another oil painting. The artist is Bungy - painted in 1964. Mounted in an off white beige mount, card, and then in a glazed frame. The frame is very vintage - wooden with a slight metallic shabby chic finish to it. Intentionally or maybe not? Glazed and ready to hang. A small clean up and this painting can be displayed straight away. Just be aware some water staining to bottom right of mount, and spotting foxing on the mount. The frame as I say has a shabby chic look about it, quite rustic and well suited to the painting. Actual painting us sound .
