Rare Vintage ‘Thonet’ Bentwood Child’s Chair
This is marked Thonet underneath, who were quality manufacturers of vintage bentwood furniture.
This is a delightful and rare piece.
What will stand out is that it is missing the tray to the front. Such a shame. But this is perfect as a quirky decoration, TV, film or theatre prop. It would look fantastic in a shop window as part of a display.
It is beautifully made and is perfectly functional when this is folded open when the front tray is not required. As for these purposes it is perfectly intact. There is a picture in the images of it open.
Aesthetically apart from the two tears to the fabric to the back it is in very good condition and has been well looked after.
