A well-worn but intriguing military uniform storage trunk. Worn Japanned effect finish.
Mid to late Victorian
There are lots of photos so please take a good look at all of the images and zoom in as I have left as found with many marks, minor dents and surface rust.
This is sold as a project although if it was mine I would leave as is, a bohemian and shabby chic piece of military history.
Much of the mustard interior paint has loosened.
Carrying handles to the sides and reverse.
The side locks are intact but need some attention in order for them to function properly.
Lock does not work.
