This elegant vintage alabaster table lamp was hand carved in Italy from genuine alabaster stone, as confirmed by its original maker’s label. With its warm ivory tones, subtle grey veining, and smooth classical urn-shaped form, it brings timeless European style into any interior. It is working and in vgc.

The lamp has the original label confirming its stone and it was made in Italy. Stunning original veins and natural design of the polished stone.

Dating to the mid 20th century (c.1950s–19760s), this lamp reflects the Italian tradition of skilled stone carving. The square stepped base and baluster form showcase the natural beauty of alabaster, while the soft, translucent quality of the stone creates a beautiful glow when lit.

This lamp base is sold in its vintage condition with age-related wear and patina consistent with its history. The wiring is the original, as is the bayonet fitment. A new UK plug will be attached and the lamp is sold as working.

Perfect for use as a bedside lamp, desk lamp, or accent lighting in both vintage-inspired and contemporary homes. It makes a stylish addition to Art Deco, Mid Century Modern, Mediterranean, or traditional interiors.
