This unique early 20th-century Oriental vintage table lamp is a striking piece with a distinctive design. Unlike the more common Ginger Jar style, this lamp features a cylindrical shape set atop a brass base, complete with a matching brass lid. The cylinder is beautifully hand-painted, showcasing a vibrant bamboo trellis in bright green, accented by delicate pink lotus flowers. The brass elements have developed a charming antique patina, adding to its timeless appeal.

I estimate this lamp dates back to the early to mid-20th century. It is truly a delicate and elegant piece. However, the flex does show signs of aging, with some yellowing and staining, so you may wish to replace it. The lamp is sold as working and is fully PAT tested.
