Quirky Vintage Retro Cantilever Adjustable Trolley Fold Up Table Formica Top Cracking piece of 70’s furniture. This will be perfect in your living room either as a side table/media unit, or as it was intended a coffee table which expands. The knob to the base pulls out which unhooks the mechanism inside and you pull the base towards you and it swings upwards. There is a knack to this, you have to push the surface just above the knob down a little so it will pull out, it may just need oiling. It then clicks into place to create a large surface. Quality cantilever system made of iron. Wood effect veneer which is very well preserved. The surfaces are not 100% flat, there is a very small curve. I have taken a photo of the surfaces at the required height to show this. Good condition, as you can see, there has been wear to the teak underneath the handle, shown. The unit sits on black plastic castors which work very well so it is easy to manoeuvre. As you can see in the images the finish is well preserved.
