I would say the cupboard is late 20th century and is a mixture of solid wood and composite wood.
Thick wooden legs that are very robust.
It has been painted in a sea green and areas have been sanded to expose the white undercoat and the wood underneath. Two iron handles.
It is a lovely decorative shape with carving below the drawers and some fluted decoration to the legs.
To the top somebody has applied some jungle newspaper and throughout they have then applied thick gloss which keeps it very well protected for the purposes of tea and coffee stains. There is a darker patch to the centre of the top which is probably caused by some form of heat.
This would be great in the bathroom as well or frankly anywhere in the house and with the very well protected top would be ideal to stick a plant on.
