Quirky and Unusual Child’s Bureau Writing Table Storage TV Theatre Prop Shop Display
A very unusual child’s bureau.
Late Victorian.
Made of pine with a thick boarded writing surface and a plywood backing.
The surface pulls down and the bottom part automatically lodges underneath the middle shelf.
There is nothing behind that would indicate it has been attached to a wall as I thought maybe it was from a school. As there are no real marks to the writing surface, I think it is an old shop display prop?
Original stained finish which has surface marks commensurate with age. Please taken a good look at the images to check the condition.
