Quirky and Kitsch Vintage Brass Metal and Onyx Marble. Standard Lamp
This has bags of character.
A 1970’s working standard lamp.
It is made of a metal column covered onyx turnings and fluted metal piping with a gold coloured finish. To the fluted metal pieces between the onyx the gold has worn and the silver of the metal has come through to a degree. To the base there are rust spots and a few spots where you can see through to the metal that are yet to rust. I think it looks great and the age worn finish giver it lots of character.
It stands well and is in working order. Obviously feel free to rewire or get checked by an electrician.
A great example of 70’s kitsch.
