One rarely comes across such a lovely, quality piece as intact as this. This is a mid-century version of a Dutch Brass Ceiling Chandelier. Quality metal construction with gorgeous intricate detailing, and six lightbulb fixtures mimicking original candleholders. Wonderful large ball and ring from the underside, and the original metal chain and ceiling rose too. Has been upgraded to three core wiring at some point - and wonderfully I can confirm it is in full working condition.

The light weighs in at approx 10kg - this will need professional installation. It has recently come from a Cannon Street, London office where it proudly hung in the entrance hall. It is a superb piece. Heavy quality and shows true craftsmanship. It has its original ceiling rose and fitments and chain.

I love the intricate detailing of the arms, at first you don't really notice them, but then you sea the birds' heads and the fish bodies. Subtle making up the arms. The lightbulb holders have wonderful metal saucers in a different patina to the rest of the light. The original metal candle holders on each fitment are intact - there are some signs of wear on them, but they are clean and the originals.

Overall the brass has tarnished due to age - it is still however in excellent condition and is a true vintage piece. This is a quality chandelier. Please see the photos and feel free to ask any questions.
