Quality Large Red Pattern Vintage Woollen Woven Decorative Vintage Rug 70s or 80s
A really unusually decorated rug almost certainly bagged the 1970s.
Beautiful colours to the vibrant pattern.
It was bought along with some others from a clearance specialist who cleared a house near Brighton of which the owners had lived for three generations. I mention this because it is very well preserved and in great condition and been looked after.
It is such a beautiful item being hand woven with wool, it would look great on a wall as it certainly has a tapestry look to it.
It feels really soft and lovely to sit on and has such an organic element to it which is the opposite from mainstream manmade rugs.
It is in very good condition with little noticeable wear. The white of the hems is noticeable to the edges.
