I would imagine it was made in the 1970s or the 1980s when this style of oriental lamp was exceedingly popular.
Lovely decoration with the house, the mountains and the boat.
A delightful pierced wooden base.
It is in good working order. It has not being PAT tested but it works fine and has a nice long gold lead.
It's nice and stable, these type of lamps do tend to get a bit wobbly over the years, but this is fine.
Perfect as a bedside lamp or a table lamp. It is a good size not being too big and clumsy and would look fantastic with the right shade.
The height to the top of the bayonet is 27 cm
