Pretty Vintage Woollen Pattern Woven Decorative Vintage Rug 70s or 80s Soft Touch
A really unusually decorated rug almost certainly made in the 1970s or 80s.
Beautiful pattern with soft almost autumnal colours.
It was bought along with some others from a clearance specialist who cleared a house near Brighton of which the owners had lived for three generations. I mention this because it is very well preserved and in great condition and been looked after.
It is such a beautiful item being hand woven with wool, it would look great on a wall as it certainly has a tapestry look to it.
It feels really soft and lovely to sit on and has such an organic element to it which is the opposite from mainstream manmade rugs.
It is in good condition with little noticeable wear.
