Although this needs a little bit of a clean, it is a wonderful top quality fire screen. Both attractive and highly practical.
I would date this from the 1970s. The frame is made of iron and is exceedingly robust.
Take a good look at the images to check the condition. On the whole, it is pretty good, still featuring the original painted black finish.
However, you will see there are areas of surface rust which you may well be happy to leave. or of course, you can apply some grate polish to give the screen a fresh appearance.
The screen stands well.
