You can't help but fall in love with this lamp. It is funky, chintzy, glamorous and full of pizazz. Completely bonkers in a very elegant and attractive manner. It is multi coloured and multi material. It is in very good condition and is ready to display!
The lamp base has a resin, metal looking attractive round base with feet, the stem is encased in a ribbon detailed pink glass, and the top is the metal looking resin again. There are some delightful pineapple looking type leaves at the top of the stem and hanging off the attractive leaves are beaded fringe like dingly danglies. With colours to match the lamp and shade - greens, browns and pinks.
The lamp shade is out of this workd - compeltely funky and different! The main materials are the links, red, green, browns and in a satin type material. the edging matches and the fringes are just fabulous - crunched up creams and golds materials - not a hanging fringe more a curly wurly one.
In fantastic condition - yes there are minor markings commensurate with age, but this lamp is just super. One thing I will point out, is one piece of edging on the shade is loose, some teeny bit of glue will fix it easily.
