A pair of very attractive tapered square lamp shades, made out of a very solid wire frame and covered in a light cream coloured string. The string is actually wound around the frame creating a sheath which actually forms the shade covering. It is a very elegant and classy effect - and provides a lovely ambience when the light shines through.
The shades are 20cm square on the base and approx 15.5cm tall. They would be perfect additions to tall table lamps, giving a French chic finish, or as shades on short table lamps.
They are in lovely condition, with just a few marks of use; the string is intact as is the frame. Probably recommended to use a light wattage bulb with them. They would attach easily to a table lamp with a screw fitment feature. Guess they could be ceiling shades too? now there's an idea!
