A high-quality pair of vintage 1980s or 1990s log holders, likely hand-forged from wrought or cast iron.
Each piece features two semi-circular side supports joined by horizontal flat bars. The lower section forms a secondary arc that reinforces the structure and adds stability. The ends of the top bars are squared off, possibly to support horizontal elements.
Finished in a matt to satin black paint or powder coating, the surface reveals hand-forged textures, particularly on the curved ironwork, giving them a rustic, vintage, and slightly industrial aesthetic.
These log holders were almost certainly designed for indoor or outdoor use by the hearth, offering both form and function. They are durable, heavy duty, and well crafted, with visible hammer marks and solid welded joints. The overall condition is very good vintage, structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or instability. The black finish is largely intact, with minor surface scuffs and small scratches consistent with age and use.
